Remember pinballs? How they would glide and bounce off bumpers no matter how fast you pushed the flippers or shook the machine? It was as if the metal was greased to ensure perpetual motion.

Thinking of this, I made an amethyst-roller-super-fancy-fidget pendant. It rolls seamlessly in its silver frame, and turning it with your fingertips is SO soothing and therapeutic. I’ve added the words “NEVER GIVE UP” as a reminder to continue on, especially when things are tough. (Viola said to me that it says “GIVE UP” if you read it from one side; I pointed out that in that case, it should be read as “GIVE UP, NEVER.”
